We are committed to ensuring that all students develop a clear understanding of the wide range of career opportunities available to them and the pathways that can lead to future success. Careers education is not confined to standalone events; instead, it is embedded across the curriculum so that students can see the relevance of their learning in real-world contexts.
To support the quality and consistency of our provision, we use the Careers & Enterprise Company (CEC) framework to audit how careers education is delivered across all subject areas. This process enables us to evaluate our practice against national standards and identify areas for development. The audit is reviewed on an annual basis, ensuring that our careers provision remains up-to-date, effective, and aligned with best practice.
To supplement the careers programme at Temple Moor, each department has the responsibility to determine how careers learning is most effectively integrated within its subject area. This allows teachers to design meaningful and subject-specific opportunities that highlight career pathways, develop employability skills, and inspire students through links to industry and further education.
Through this whole-school approach, we aim to equip every student with the knowledge, skills, and aspirations needed to make informed decisions about their future.
