Today we invited Year 5 students from our neighbouring Red Kite Learning Trust primary school, Whitkirk Primary, to take a part in British Science Week activities with us!
The first session we held was about Connection in Biology. Students learned about DNA and extract DNA from strawberries.
The second session was all about Connection in Physics where students learned about electricity and built an electric circuit out of conductive playdough.
Children had lots of fun and it gave our Whitkirk Primary Year 5 students a little taster of how fun learning can be at Temple Moor!
Our amazing Science Team took the opportunity to dress up as their favourite Scientists for the occasion - how brilliant do they look?
