World Book Day 2023

A huge thank you to staff and students for taking part in the World Book Day 2023 celebrations. We received many donations for the book swap and sixth form students enjoyed exchanging books so much that we will be setting up a 'Book Swap Bookshelf' in the common room! This year, students had the opportunity to download a £1 book token by collecting a QR code. It was great to see that by the end of the day, there wasn't a single code left. Clearly students were eager to receive and enjoy something new to read.
Students also made some thoughtful predictions throughout the day when listening to each part of the story chain - although many were surprised by the outcome of Roald Dahl's intriguing tale! We have uploaded the story (read by some familiar voices!) if you would like to listen to the adventures of Mr Botibol and his 'Dip in the Pool'.
